Dis-Chem Group (exited in November 2016)

Dis-Chem was founded in 1978 by Ivan and Lynette Saltzman, and now has more than 120 stores in Southern Africa specialising in beauty, health food, sport supplements, health and well-being.

Dis-Chem offers the widest ranges in these categories, along with expert advice, famously competitive prices and a benefits programme that rewards customers and gives back to the community through the Dis-Chem Foundation.

Dis-Chem successfully listed on the JSE in November 2016.
