For new Mutuals, Picnic provides end-to-end management services for the design, creation and operation of Discretionary Mutual Funds as an alternative to insurance & alternative risk transfer solutions.  Discretionary Mutual Funds may form an insurance layer or the full insurance solution, depending upon needs, industry and operating environment of a client.  Alternative risk transfer options / solutions are developed to address a market, customer or industry need.

For existing DMFs not managed by Picnic. Picnic provides an array of support services & DMF reinsurance for existing DMF’s. This includes actuarial services, capital management, reserving, pricing, underwriting, company secretary, wording development, marketing & member engagement.
